tecRaman Optical Bench
Description
The tecRaman spectrometer is a high-performance Raman 785nm imaging spectrometer platform engineered by tec5USA, built around a high transmission, scientific-grade VPH grating with collimating and focusing optics.
This Raman optical bench achieves an impressive resolution of 7cm-1, covering a wide spectral range of 300 to 3,100cm-1.
Throughput and signal collection are maximized thanks to the custom fiberoptic round-to-line cross-sectional converter, collecting a round spot from a Raman probe output and presenting the signal as a narrow line at the spectrometer entrance.
The tecRaman spectrometer is configured with a high-end, high-sensitivity, low-noise back-thinned TE-cooled CCD sensor, which height is matched with the height of the fiber converter for best signal collection. Other sensors can be adapted upon request to meet specific user requirements in terms of signal collection, spectral coverage, cooling performance, frame rate and budget.
Enhanced and maximized throughput, thanks to components perfectly matched with each other at every stage of the design process, means shorter exposure times, a critical advantage in process control and closed feedback loop operation.
This optimized Raman optical bench is at the core of tec5USA’s Raman OEM solutions and online Raman analyzers. Customized versions are possible with multi-fiber / multi-channel options.
