Partnered as subsidiary of the Nynomic Group, tec5USA is committed to follow the Nynomic ESG mission to make the world a better place for this and future generations. We achieve this by implementing innovative photonic measurement technology to measure parameters that are of vital importance in the fields of life science, green tech and cleantech. We offer the entire value chain of non-contact optical measurement technology –from components and systems to the applicable solution. Our customers can flexibly choose from our product portfolio regarding the degree of integration, depending on what best fits their requirements. Below are three examples of organizations tec5USA is partnered with to enhance our mission.
As Special Expedition members of Climeworks, we help them to scale their technology to remove 100kg of CO2 from the air a month.
Climeworks uses a technology called ‘direct air capture’ to capture carbon dioxide directly from the air. When the removed CO₂ is combined with underground storage, it allows the permanent removal of excess and legacy CO₂ emissions, which can no longer contribute to climate change.

The organization conducts scientific research into oceanic plastic pollution. Their ocean system consists of a floating barrier at the surface of the water in the oceanic gyres, that collects marine debris as the system is pushed by wind, waves and current, and slowed down by a sea anchor. The project aims to launch a total of 60 such systems, and they predict this capability could clean up 50% of the debris in the Great Pacific Garbage Patch in five years from full scale deployment.
