The MMS spectrometer has been key in allowing us to expand our business to the environmental analysis market. FIAlab has increased sales by about 60% since starting to use the MMS spectrometer.

The ability of the MMS to address all of our low-level detection requirements. I expected it to handle most of them, but so far it has performed well in every single application we have used it for.

I can recommend tec5 products without reservation. They have been designed for high performance and robustness. In the few cases where technical issues have arisen, the tec5 support team has been able to work with us to resolve them.

Not really. The only thing I've seen with the MMS is that linearity (stray light) could be a little better to extend the dynamic range. But that is a minor downside in an otherwise great product.

The tec5 products meet the engineer application that we need.

They are a company that would do all they can to support you on a commercial basis.

6. Was there anything we could have differently?
The biggest challenge is the extended supply chain. A lot of the key technology comes from a company in Germany and that company has more control of them. That means the long lead time they sometimes have to go out and buy things. Although they have made orders based on forecast rather than physical orders to minimize the situation.

Any vendor that can make my life easier deserves their praises to be sung. They make my job easier because I can count on what they’ve promised. I don’t need to follow up.

The technology they put together, that along with the pricing, and availability work hand in hand. Delivering what they’ve promised on time.

Difficult to make changes beneficial to the technology. Works with our instrument. Makes it easier for us and we can save money.

In terms of support or issues. Very receptive to any needs we have. It makes it easier for us to set up orders. We expect shipments every month and get it. Communication is open and unmatched. If there are issues, we know early enough to make adjustments. They reach out and let us know what we can and cannot do. Communication Proactivity.

We are able to meet our supply, demand and sales objectives based on the products we receive from tec5. Hitting and exceeding our goals annually.

Dependency. No need to figure out or troubleshoot. Very rare issues. Always addressable.

Go for it. They can expect good service, good quality, technical expertise to back it up.

Yearly negotiation contracts. Annually there is work around the main component in the system.

One of the great things that tec5 does is attack the problem, work very close with us as the customer, and help us to create better products ourselves.

For example, if you want to monitor protein concentration in a bioreactor, in which the biosynthesis takes place in an aqueous medium, then you likely would want to use Raman spectroscopy for the application, as water does not contribute to the Raman signal.
