Meet Our Leadership Team

As the CEO of tec5USA, Sebastian brings 20+ years’ experience and his passion for business to the world and translates the importance and influence of spectroscopy on product quality, production process efficiency and cost savings. Responsible for overseeing all facets of the organization, Sebastian drives the mission, operations, R&D, production, sales and marketing. He and his team have turned the organization around by his diversification strategy that he introduced soon after joining the company. Exuding a dynamic, effective, and influential leadership style that motivates, he has successfully created a team of 40+ members, and built a new business model. Before that he was leading the optoelectronics department at EBV Elektronik (an Avnet company) and had another managerial role at NXP Semiconductors. Sebastian’s academic foundation lies in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering, which he studied at the Technical University of Munich, Germany.

In her capacity as COO, Ioana leads operational oversight, provides meticulous budgetary supervision for tec5USA’s location, identifies, and mitigates operational risks to minimize potential negative impacts on organization and oversees the day-to-day operations to keep organization running smoothly while meeting business goals. With a wealth of experience of > 20 years, Ioana has established herself as a proficient Chief Operating Officer, driving performance improvements and leading strategic initiatives with unwavering determination. Throughout her career, Ioana has demonstrated a solid track record of implementing strategic business plans, driving growth, and improving operations across diverse industries. She holds a Master’s degree from the University of Karlsruhe (TH) in Physics.

Dr. Nathan Stebbins is a proactive manager with over 10 years of experience in laboratory functions. As the Associate Director of Chemistry at Tyson Foods, he excelled in developing advanced analytical methods for extracting veterinary drug residues and other components crucial to Tyson’s business units. With a performance-based leadership style, Dr. Stebbins ensured data quality for regulatory, food safety, and nutritional projects. His history includes serving as a Food Science Research Assistant at the University of Arkansas, where he conducted impactful research on natural pigments and their fermentation products. Holding a Ph.D. in Food Science, Dr. Stebbins is a skilled project manager, problem solver, and team builder. Affiliated with ACS, AOAC, and AOCS, he contributes significantly to the advancement of analytical methods.

Jude has been part of the tec5USA team since 2015 and has grown with the company. With about 20 years of spectroscopy experience, he leads the Application Science team applying the principles of spectroscopy to novel applications ranging from pharmaceutical and food to oil, gas and chemistry. He has experience with bringing together the right technology for interfacing with various demanding industrial applications for successful installations. Jude received his PhD from Boston University where he concentrated on applying various spectroscopic techniques to novel semiconducting materials.

Kalpesh has been with tec5USA for over 13 years’ and have an experience in optics, electronics and mechanical with prior experience in the computer and networking. He is responsible for all tec5USA product design and development and introducing new products in the market. Kalpesh has a master’s degree from Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, NJ and has studied Engineering Physics focus on Electronics and Photonics.

Dileep has over 15 years of experience in the manufacturing sector in the spectroscopy technology. At tec5USA, he is responsible for the manufacturing of OEM units and systems for different industries including semiconductor, environmental, pharmaceutical and others in process control. He manages the production planning for the manufacturing department. Dileep has a Master’s Degree from the New York Institute of Technology in Electrical engineering field.

Responsible for all aspects of finance at the company including preparation of financial statements, budgeting, treasury, and tax, Ben has over 20 years of wide-ranging, hands-on experience in both financial analysis and accounting. “I pride myself in building collaborative relationships with all of those I work alongside in order to achieve the synergies to push the department, and ultimately the business, forward.” Prior to joining tec5USA Ben gained 5+ years in public accounting and 10+ years working for a FTSE 250

company in the telecommunications industry. Ben is proudly a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
